Throwback MOTD!

Throwback MOTD!

For this look I have used the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette on my Eyes. I have swatched the eyeshadows in a previous post for you guys!

The eyelashes in wearing are from @lapaigetrends on Instagram in the name ROSIE! Her eyelashes are INSANE!!! I will review them in a later post too!

The glitter I have on my eyelid is Midnight Cowboy from Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liners, The eyeliner is from @Tartecosmetics and the Nails are from @Hudabeauty All from Instagram! Hope you all love the look as much as I do <3

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liners

These eyeliners are perfect to add a pop of colour on the eyelids! The best thing is to add a line on top of your black eyeliner to take the eye look to whole new level! The longevity of these Urban Decay glitter liners is amazing! they do actually last all day. It doesn't move or transfer at all! The brush to apply it with isn't that brilliant but about 3/4 coats in the same place with the brush gives a perfect, even finish!

The colours are:

ACDC which is a medium-dark purple glitter with reddish tones.
AMP which is a mix of lighter and darker blue, green and teal green.
DISTORTION which is an iridescent mix of glitter, so it flashes greenish, gold, fuschia, pink and blue.
GLAMROCK which is a silver glitter.
JUNKSHOW which is a mix of fuschia, dark pink a few bits of gold.
SPANDEX which is a mix of black, fuschia, navy blue and glitter.
MIDNIGHT COWBOY Which by the way is my FAVOURITE is a warm toned, golden beige glitter. This colour is actually sold out everywhere inc the website and is really hard to get hold of which is upsetting!

Below is a look I created, hope you like it xx

Sex On Fire - Charlotte Tilburry Blush Swish and Pop

When it comes to blusher I love pinky tones my actual favorite was Dianty from MAC But then I came across the Sex On Fire in Selfridges from Charlotte Tilburry and I have to say its my new FAV!!!! With the swish and pop method it gives my cheeks a healthy glow and makes me look even more youthful lol

It retails at £30 which some may find quite expensive, but it has a fill of 8g which is quite a lot of product! The colour is actually build-able and blends into the skin perfectly. There are actually 6 shades from this collection to choose from but this one by far was the best for me :-)

Aqeela Choker Necklace

Lets just stop and take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this necklace called Aqeela is! It came in a black cardboard box with a velvet underlay finish as seen in the picture. The necklace is really breathtaking, iv wore it on several occasions now and love it. It fits on the neck like a choker and sits perfectly without moving or causing any discomfort. I didn't even realize I had it on. It was £20 plus postage and was purchased from SapphireBlue on Instagram/Facebook. Massive Thumbs Up from Me!!!!! (A video of this choker is up on my Instagram +Makeup By Uzma Shahzad

SheBelievedBangle

* She Believed She Could So She Did!*

This absolutely beautiful silver bangle was sent to me by @Shebelievedbangle on Instagram. Its really pretty and elegant at the same time. It came in a black velvet pouch which was ever soo soft to the touch. The only thing which I  found was when I wear the bangle it slips off as its too big for my arm/hand, my arms are super skinny! I will still keep it as a display piece though as its supporting a great cause supporting equal education opportunity for young girls and women in third world countries!

Oils Of Life (The Body Shop)

Well Hi there, it seems like AGES since I have wrote a review but I have been really busy with my children, going out, parties and work that I didn't really have time. I was really going off a couple of hours sleep, which isn't good at all, so I did have a couple of days in between where I did absolutely NOTHING! Whoop! Just Netflix & Chill...

Anyway I'm reviewing the Oils of Life from The Body Shop which I bought a while back, I had it in the back of the cupboard and left it whilst i tried other products. It was for £28 which one can find a wee bit expensive, I bought it straight up though as i did hear good reviews about it. The crap thing is that no discount can be used against buying this oil, for example my network is with o2 and they have o2 priority which allows you to use coupons or discount and The Body Shop is on there to have a 35% discount, when I went to buy the oil thought I was told it is excluded from any offers! Blah!

The shape of the bottle is like a little like a pair and you have to squeeze the top for the oil to go into the tube and squeeze again to release the oil onto the face. A little oil does go along way.

Since having my baby nearly 10 weeks ago (time flies) my face skin had become really dry and flaky. I didn't know why it did that I would always moisturise and my routine was exactly the same as before, which was washing my face with Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wash Gel every night before bed. As my skin start playing up I stopped using that and switched to the Nivea Range, the 2in1 Cleanser & Toner was suppose to b amazing for flaky skin. Again after using it it didn't work. I tried other oils like Bio Oil too, It failed! That's when I remembered I have the Oils of Life in my drawer, so I got it out and decided to put it to use.

The Oils Of Life is made from 99% natural origin oils. They are cold pressed oils which are quickly absorbed by the skin which leaves it plump and hydrated, something which my skin was in desperate need of! It is suppose to help fight signs of ageing (not that I'm old) and make the skin feel revitalized, more elastic and firmer. It also helps to lock moisture and nutrients into your skin making you look and feel fresher.

For me i has been nearly a week using it and I can see a difference already, when I wake up my skin is NOT flaky and feels really Fresh. I'm absolutely loving the oil and how its helping my skin. My makeup application looks more even too!  My Nivea & Simple range of facial masks and toners I threw in the bin. I'm sticking with this oil now and will carry on using it In Sha Allah.

Definitely recommend :P

The BFG

Heyyy. Today was movie day with my little babbies and niece. They wanted to watch The BFG, So that's what we watched. It started and about the first half an hour I was finding the movie difficult to enjoy and understand. Mark Rylance who plays the BFG was talking nonsense, baffling his words but throughout the movie it did get better. There were 2/3 scenes where I did literally LAUGH OUT LOUD!

It is a very magical story.

My 8 yeah old son and 6 year old daughter enjoyed it but my 4 year old daughter got very impatient, repeatedly asking, 'is it finished yet?' Personally I would rate it a 6/10.
